Communications for Development (C4D)

We live in a world where the quality of information we receive largely determines our choices and ensuing actions, including our capacity to enjoy fundamental freedoms and the ability for self-determination and development. People across the world including Africa are witnessing a dramatic increase in access to information and communication. While some people are starved for information, others are flooded with print, broadcast and digital content.

Communications for Development (C4D)

Our projects are built on the following three thematic areas.

Communication and information technologies to encompass learning

Critical thinking, and interpretative skills across and beyond professional and educational boundaries.

Capacity building for broader knowledge

Battle against Misinformation

The spread of misinformation, disinformation and generally, fake news, indiscriminatory content and use of media tools by individuals and organizations to radicalize individuals for political and social change has become increasingly popular as the Internet penetrates more of the world and mobile computing devices are more accessible.

We champion project on Media and Information Literacy- a basic human right in an increasingly digital, interdependent, and global world, to promotes greater social inclusion.
